Check the label on the insde of the door...gross vehicle weight
Edit:
Previous answer is not the answer to the question. Gross Vehicle weight is what the vehicle is lawfully allowed to weigh when fully loaded, not including trailer weight.
The answer to the question would better be answered with the figure that is regularly referred to as "dry weight"... this would be the weight of the truck with no fluids or cargo of any kind.
I am looking for an answer to this question as well... I may need to just unload the truck and take it to a scale.
the fuse and relay center under hood
probably 305hp , the 5.0 L engine is 305, if u have the 5.7 L then you are looking at 350hp that is not correct that is the displacement of each motor not the horsepower!!!
It came factory with a 4L60E transmission and that is what it MUST have put back in it.
I do not know for sure how many o2 sensors are on your 98 Chevy but i do no they will be mounted in the exaust mainfold(s) my 93 has only one mounted on the driver side manifold
in my 98, Chevy siverado, c1500 2wd, 5.7L vortec, I found it located to the left (passenger) side of the manifold, near the throttle body. It can be identified by the vaccum line coming out the left side of the sensor, leading to the Vortec air box.
you should weigh about 98-104
That would be the 4L60E transmission. The 4L80E trans. was used in the 3/4 ton trucks.
