Call your local JOHN DEERe Dealer. They should be able to help you.

The BASIC "bare" tractor should weigh around 6,300#.

HOWEVER...

- Diesel or Gas engine?

- You need to specify if the tractor has "loaded" rear tires (full of CaCl) or not.

- You need to specify if the tractor has a loader on it.

- You need to specify if the tractor has a backhoe on it.

- You need to specify if the tractor has any additional ballast, such as wheel weights, and front or rear mounted weights.

- You need to specify if the tractor has a cab, a ROPS, and/or canopy.

A lot of different things factor into your question, and it can vary A LOT.

If I had to guess, I'd say you can probably get away with hauling it on a 7,000# GVWR trailer, but that might be really pushing it, especially if you are going any kind of a long distance.

- Much safer to haul it on a 10,000# or larger GVWR trailer.

Again, it depends on how the tractor is equipped. My trailer recommendations are based solely upon the BASE tractor. (If I were a bettin' man, I'd bet you'll need at LEAST a 10,000# GVWR trailer or better to safely haul it.)

Really, I need to know more information about how the tractor is equipped to give a proper answer.
