I'm not sure on the price but it is a very good gun for a 13 year old I know a few teens that use them they are one of the best field gun ever made
@ 200 USD
If the Pumpaction is in good shape and has good wood, then $150-175 is an average price.
Hey, I'm not sure about the worth, but I am also interested in the answer. I too just found a Remington 870 wingmaster 12 gauge made in 1951...
Remington made several versions from 1950 through 1959, and still do. It depends on condition, gauge, grade or version. I have recently bought a 51, a 53 and a 56. Prices run NORMALLY for AVERAGE standard shotguns 150-250 but more if they are of certain gauges and condition.
A standard Wingmaster (mfg 1950 to 1963) Exc V.G. Good Fair Poor 250 225 200 150 100 870 Field Wingmaster (mfg 1964 to present) NIB Exc V.G. Good Fair Poor 550 450 300 225 150 100
Assuming it is all original and in very good or better shape, approx. $ 500.
Pesonal preference. Both are good weapons.
Yes you can, I own a Remington 870 wingmaster with a 27" smoothbore barrel and it shoots rifled 1oz slugs all day, and fairly accurately. The only thing you cannot shoot through it is sabbot slugs but the nice thing about having a gun like yours is that you can go from slugs to 00 buck shot to bird shot without changing barrels. Good luck and happy shooting
I saw used ones at LL Bean, and Bass Pro Shop in good to excellent condition for $200 to $250 dollars just a few months ago.
If it is a Wingmaster (steel receiver) not the LW light weight has checkered wood recoil pad and pistol grip cap and 1 barrel with ventilated rib and in good condition (good blueing and no dings or scratches on the wood) about $ 500,00 in this area. There where some models that came with 2 barrels (short barrel with rifle sights for deer hunting) and that would increase the value by about 30%. LW models about 25 % less.
Could be. Have not had personal experience with that rifle, but do like my other Remingtons. Some states do not permit the use of semi-auto rifles for hunting, so check your state game laws. If you Google Remington 750. there are several reviews of the 750. The .270 should be more than adequate for deer anywhere in the US.
What do you mean replace Remington? There is no replacement for Remington,in my eyes Remington is a very good gun.
