I paid $79 at jiffy lube
2001 Honda Odyssey, I just had this done and it cost $97.00 Hudson, MA
A coolant flush at Meineke costs about 200.00. That is a very good price for a coolant flush. I highly recommend choosing Meineke as your primary go to for car problems.
Check the coolant, the thermostat, or the radiator. When the coolant system is low on antifreeze or dirty it will cause the air and heat not to work. If you have enough antifreeze, and the correct type (NO GREEN only orange or pink or maybe clear) and your car still has the same problem, you will probably need a radiator flush. Take it to somebody you trust to do that since we went to Jiffy Lube once and they broke a hose and fixed it with something that resembled chewed bubble gum. We have a constant leak now and it will cost $1000 to fix.
call or check on line local garages and car dealerships to see who is offering the best deals and what all comes with it.if you know someone who can tell you if its the coolant leaking that would be great than you know what the problem is ahead of time and you will not have a service cost on top of the replacement of the coolant
In central Illinois it runs around $99
A coolant flush usually refers to changing the fluid in the radiator of your car and can mean having chemicals 'flushed' through the vehicle's cooling system so as to remove any unwanted rust or corrosion. Coolant is the greenish liquid that you find in the radiator and should be changed according to the owner's manual of your vehicle. As for cost, it depends upon who is doing the job, a dealer's service department will charge more than a garage; but they will make sure that the job is done correctly for your vehicle. In any event I would shop around to find a reputable mechanic who will give you the best price.
$1.34 per flush
Depends on the car and what is actually wrong with it
First pressure test system to determine where leak originates
You need to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.
The cost to fix the coolant system depends on what is broken. It could be less than $100 for a hose to over $1000 for a head gasket. You cannot run the car without coolant because the engine would overheat and seize up.
