I've worked as a I9 contractor and as a club operator for nearly 6 years now. There are obvious tax advantages to being an independent consultant. I've worked under straight commission and base plus commission. The compensation is typically related to the contract value you are selling.
As a contractor I earned $600 a week base, plus 10% of the money down I collected and typically 4-7% of the remaining contract value. Most comp. plans are graduated, so the more memberships you sell the higher your overall percentage.
When it is all said and done (base or no base) you'll typically earn $55-$85/ membership you sell. In a pre-sale 100 units is typically on a monthly basis for the first few months. Then you should always sell 60-90 units/ month.
I've never earned less than $50K/year selling memberships. As a General Manger, not less than $90K/year. This is an outside sales job with retail hours. Its a 2 day industry....you can control today and tomorrow.....not much more.
in Australia it's 33k + commission

If you walk into a health club and ask for a membership, you most likely will receive a full membership. Most people only use part of the club's facilities. Make sure to ask about all of the options. Many health clubs offer reduced rates for using only certain parts of the facility or using it during the non-peak hours. There may be further discounts if you fall under certain categories, such as student, handicapped or senior citizen. You also may get a better deal if you wait until the last day of the month to sign up. Many health clubs are franchises. They compete for the most monthly membership sales and are likely to reduce rates as the month closes.
It will depend on the type of membership that you choose. If you choose a paid for membership, you do have to make sure that you go through the terms of the contract.
You can't. But if you make a parent account, you can cancel your membership.
I don't think you can do that. I have wondered if he ever is going to make a membership hacker, but that's practiclly STEALING. And he could get in BIG trouble if club penguin found out.
The year membership on club penguin is $57.95. You only have to pay once. The 6 membership is $29.95 and the one month membership is $5.95. They sell membership cards at many stores where you can buy a 1 or 6 month membership, and then enter the code on club penguin, (using the instructions on the back of the card).</
If your Club Penguin Membership Card said this, there could be a glitch. No worries, try emailing Club Penguin and explain the problem, Club Penguin may ask you a few questions (what is the code for your card?...) so just be patient and double check to make sure that you have never used this membership card.
