This greatly depends on the exact motor you need. I've seen several on ebay for around $5500.
It also will depend on if you are buying the motor new, or if you are buying it refurbished. Some of the refurbished models sell for approximately $2,500.

The Charger is faster, they are built on the same chassis but the extar metal and glass of the magnum adds aprox. 230lbs which slows it alittle. magnum 14.6@97.4, 4380lbs. charger 14.3@99.5, 4153lbs. both have 5.7 hemi 340hp/390tq
If you're referring to the current Hemis, there is no difference, they're all one in the same

A Hemi will not fit in a 2000 Ram with out major modifications.

if it has the 5.7 hemi in it they are up buy the motor where the exhaust bolts on you have to look down through buy the fire wall in side the engine compartment to see them
The 5.7 Liter Hemi had 345 Horsepower in 2007 & 2008 - went up to 390 horsepower in 2009
