Before you add brake fluid, are you SURE you need to add some? Because as brake pads wear, the brake fluid level goes down, but the brake pads need to be replaced then, BEFORE any brake fluid is added. Otherwise, when the brake pads ARE replaced, there will be too much brake fluid in the reservoir, and it will flow out when the pistons are pushed back into it's bore, to make room for the new pads. -Tom.
Front disk brake pads will usually run you $75.
around 60$ for the fluid service.....
what sould the cost be for new roders and break pad on the rear breaks for a 2008 dodge careavan
Just go and buy a new one. They don't cost that much and are located under the dash on the brake pedal arm.
They are all pretty much the same, they havent started making different types of brake fluid for different types of cars yet but you never know, dont give them any crazy ideas.
tell u fill the reservoir ...you don't need to add brake fluid unless u have a leak...if your brake fluid is low but not full that means you could have worn pads and there is no need to add brake fluid....if u have bad pads u will hear a scraping noise...if the brake pedal is spongy like soft you could have air in the lines and needs to be bled...there could b more problems but that's the basics
