nuclear power plant
While selecting a suitable site for a hydro-electric power plant, if a good system of natural storage-lakes at high altitudes and with large catchment areas can be located, the plant will be comparatively economical.Anyhow the essential characteristics of a good site are:large catchment area, high average rain fall anda favorable place for constructing the storage or reservoir. The land should be cheap in cost and rocky in order to withstand the weight of large building and heavy machinery. There should be possibility of providing adequate transportation facilities so that the necessary equipment and machinery could be easily transported.
to help pay for line maintenance, employees, and cost of fuel.
A pithead is a power plant that is located in coal min e itself and thus reduces operating cost as transportation cost of carrying coal to power plant is reduced.
it costs about €500
The average cost of building a hydro power plant on the Columbia river is 559,220,000.
hydro power plant
£9000 in the ukA lotThe price of Hydro Power depends if your referring to the cost of it being built or the cost of running it. It also depends on the size of the Hydro plant. Construction of Hydro Plants are generally VERY expensive but once they have been built the are quite cheap to run.
The cost to dismantle a hydro electric power plant, including the removal of pen stocks and return of foot print area to pristine condition is about 20 million per installed megawatt today.
Generating Energy through Coal i.e, Thermal Energy is costlier as comparer t Hydro energy generation.BUt the Installation cost in case of Hydro Power Plant is much higher than the thermal Pwr Plant
Hydro power depends on suitable water sources and terrain where you can build a dam to obtain the necessary head of water, so it can't be built anywhere, whereas a nuclear plant can be sited in most areas apart from earthquake zones, provided there is a supply of cooling water. So hydro is more limited in application, but I guess if there are the right conditions for building it, this will be the most economical in the long run, and there are no pollution worries. Nuclear plants should be compared with fossil fuel plants rather than hydro, as the choice is then more valid.

eii an cu pu.. :)
You pay for the cost of building and repairing the power plant, transmission lines, fuels to run the plant, salaries for the workers, taxes on the power, and some profit for the electric company
Zach is really awsome so is Devon and Matt
