It is located under the starter. I had to remove the fan shroud to access the sensor's one 10mm bolt. It was an exceptional headache on my car because I had hit a deer and the insurance company replaced my radiator with a low cost, non OEM radiator and it did not have a removable upper goose neck. This necessitates removing the radiator to be able to remove the fan shroud.

My 2005 Jeep Wrangler X has it's engine light on which in turn failed inspection. The computer diagnosed a faulty O2 sensor on the exhaust cat converter. The cost is $240.00. The part cost anywhere from $20 to $100 depending on the vehicle.
I bought one off the internet for around $50, but found out it cost about $450 in labor to have it replaced.
