Having your vehicle's interior reupholstered can range from under a $1000.00 to well into the tens of thousands. It all depends on what you are wanting done and what materials you wish to use. Most of my work is done on Street Rods and classic cars and I would guess that the average cost is somewhere in the $4500.00 range. Materials can cost between $10.00/yard to $75-80.00/yard. Then you have to consider all the material that isn't seen such as seat foam and sound and heat insulation, not to mention panel boards for making door panels. Then one must decide upon the "Look" that you are going for, Do you want an original looking interior in your muscle car or would you rather go with something more modern with build in DVD players and subwoofers? I even installed fish tanks in a car once. It is nearly impossible to give a quick answer to this question as Custom Interiors are just that "Custom". Your best course of action is to find a local shop and simply ask questions. Most shops will have no problem spending a little time with you to give you a rough idea of what it will cost to perform the services that you are wanting. Take in magazines with pictures of interiors that you like, though don't expect them to simply duplicate someone else' work. Make it your own with your own ideas. Don't be afraid to make suggestions of things you would like done. Go to several shops and repeat this process until you find a shop and crew that you feel you can afford and will do the job you want.
