In an automatic Eclipse, the transmission filter is located inside of the transmission. To change the filter, the entire transmission must be disassembled to reach it.
There is no filter in this model car.

The Mitsubishi Gallant does not have a removable transmission filter. It is found within the internal workings of the transmission itself.
fue filter can be located at the left rear tyre and you will need a 14 spanner to pull filter and a 10 socket to remove bracket.
