Well i say water because food coloring probably doesn't have as much water in it.
add food coloring any color you want but not to much it will take the taste out of the icing
Use the paste. Food coloring liquid will thin out the dough too much.
Every Sweet Tart you eat has food coloring in it. Not as much as some other candy because they're making them pale colors, but it's there.
Never add too much. Always start with a small amount and add to it. Also, you need to know what you are coloring. Use the correct type of food coloring for the item you are coloring. EG use liquid in liquids, pastes and/or power in solids.
Yes, it's safe once in awhile and not too much.
It varies from none (dry powder food color) to almost all (liquid food color).
no food coloring is just to change the color
yes if you put green food colring it will turn green and then star to die
It depends on how much food coloring you are trying to absorb, and how big the celery is. If you have a small stick of celery and a lot of food coloring, it will most likely take about a week or so for the celery to completely absorb the food coloring. When the color of the water and the color of the celery switch places, it is fully absorbed. I will be doing this experiment myself to see how long in days, minutes, and seconds it takes, but if you have any more questions, try it!
Try adding a bit of red food coloring, a little bit at a time until the desired color of blue is achieved. To much red will turn the blue to purple. Try using a toothpick with the red. Best to try with a little blue icing first.
You CANNOT use liquid food coloring---that will ruin the candy. You CAN use a paste or power food coloring purchased at a craft store like Michaels, Joannes etc or a cake/candy supply store. Also some gourmet cooking stores will have the right coloring. You can also buy candy melts from the same type of stores. They have red and pink candy melts. Also seen candy melts at Walmart in the craft/sewing section of the store.
