Consumers need producers to survive
from the producers
How Does A consumer Get its Energy: by eating. We get energy by eating food.
Yes, food chains do need a consumer. There are 4 types of consumers.
Both have the need of food, shelter, and clothing.
Producers (plants) make their own food, consumers don't. Consumers have to eat producers or other consumers.
Consumers generally do not produce their own food on a large scale. Instead, they typically rely on farmers, agricultural producers, and food manufacturers to supply them with the products they need. Consumers may grow some of their own food in small gardens or farms, but the majority of their food comes from commercial sources.
All consumers need to practice portion control to some extent. Humans who eat too much run the risk of obesity and its related health problems. Animals who don't use portion control risk depleting their food source.
Producers get the carbon dioxide they need to make food from the atmosphere. They take in carbon dioxide during photosynthesis, a process in which they convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen using sunlight.
Then no consumers will eat it and no food for 2nd consumers. Then no life
Food consumers are the people who buy food products. This is anyone in a grocery store, for example.
Chloroplasts are essential for primary consumers to acquire nutrients. If primary consumers didn't acquire nutrients there would be much less food available up the food chain.
