1976 c10s did not come with 454s
Advertised Horsepower is---245HP @ 4000 RPMs.
160 hp @ 4200 rpms
Advertised horsepower is 165 HP @ 3800 RPMs.
I'm not sure how much bigger than a 454 you can put in it, but a 350 will definitely fit in it, as I'm sure you already know, along with the 454.
Advertised horsepower is: 175 HP @ 4000 RPMs. That's not much. Straight out of the BOOK.
My 72 C10 is set up with a 454 V8 and a 4 barrel carb and it gets around 12-14 mpg in town, depending on how i'm driving it. I don't take it on the highway, so I couldn't tell you that much.
If it's a 4-barrel-----250HP@4600 RPM
check the door jam, the dashboard, and if its not there, look on the firewall...
HP on the 305's range from 190-mid 200's to the crank.
No, the ball joints are much larger on the C10.
