First of all ........ REMEMBER, Horsepower sells Engines, but Torque wins races !!

SO, if it runs STRONG and you're happy with it ....... SMILE !!

It might have been from a Chevy , or an Olds , or something else GM.

Second ......... It will depend on what car it came out of originally.

There were many variations of this engine ........ As with most.

Alot of it depends on the carburation originally hooked up too.

IF you know if that's been changed or not will make a big difference.

Otherwise, you'll just have to guess.

But it starts at about 180 - 190 HP (believe it or not) ....... and DOES go

up ALOT from there, but you'll have to get more details.

You MIGHT just have one with HP up in the 300's ...............

BUT, alot of factors will determine that.

I wish you luck in finding out.
