Yes beans contain iron. Dried beans etc do. They have to have grown in soil w iron in it but in most cases yes almost as much as meat. That doesnt dont eat meat though u still need nutrition and substance.
In a word, yes. However, you do not have to eat beef or any other type of meat to get iron. You can get it easily from beans and other legumes as well as dark green vegetables like kale, spinach, and mustard or collard greens. The best way to absord iron from foods is to always combine an iron rich food with a vitamin c rich food, like a serving of citrus fruit, berries, other fruit, or a small glass of fruit juice. There's also a prouct I have used myself while I was pregnant to maintain healthy iron levels called Floradix Iron and Herbs. It was very effective, and worked quickly. Hope this helps!

Yes, at some level. Red meat has more iron in it than chicken or pork, though.

All meats have some. Red meats have the most.
Yes, but it's not especially high in iron. Dark meat would have greater amounts of iron than white meat.
First, L2English. Second, yes, the iron in metal is the same iron in meat. Iron is used in the blood to transport oxygen.
the most important thing in meat as far as humans eating it, is the iron, the iron in meat is readily synthesised by our digestive systems and used among other things for all the important ingredients needed to transform us into healthy fertile adults.Teenages especially require meat iron.plant iron on the other hand does not absorb readily and will not reach the required area's through the blood as the blood needs meat iron to ensure full oxegenation .
It will digest "properly" unless it has been consumed along with milk to tea/coffee (which all inhibit iron absorption). You may be referring to the fact that iron in an egg is not "haem" iron - a kind of iron which is easier for the human body to synthesise. Haem iron is the kind of iron found in meat, which is more easily utilized by the body. (Although it may appear that meat is more difficult to digest than an egg, the iron it meat is more easily absorbed).
Generally it doesn't have much iron but dark meat has ALOT more then white meat.
Everyone needs iron in their diets, vegetarians are just less likely to get it easily because they don't eat meat. All this means is that they have to look elsewhere to get all the iron they need from things like beans, and leafy green vegetables.
no, it's red meat that is high in iron
