Sorry Kadian?
Totally different drugs. Morphine is an opiate and Robaxin is a skeletal muscle relaxer. Yes, Morhine is much stronger!
It would depend on how much morphine the child took but assuming you are talking about an adult dose, the child could go into a coma or die.
Oxycontin is a synthetic manufactured MS. I have taken both for a condition I have. I will say I stay in reality much more with the MS. The oxy changed my personality, I am told not to the best. I think the pain relief is about the same. Tolerance is always a problem. The best thing is to STOP, I truly believe now that I have my pain is no worse. Now if you are taking them for other reasons than pain, then well....

After morphine you may not need diazepam at all. Morphine is very much dangerous drug and diazepam is very safe drug. Morphine has to be used very carefully and diazepam can be used almost routinely in today's world of lot of psychological tensions.
Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) is roughly ten times more potent than morphine sulfate. The Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) worked MUCH better for me for pain than morphine did but the "narcotic effect" with dilaudid is very intense so be careful doing stuff like driving until you know how it affects you if you get that prescribed to you.Knowledge based on: 10 years of pain medications...a lot of different ones!
Although both morphine and fentanyl are opioid painkillers, there are significant differences between the two, both in chemical structure and effects. Fentanyl is much more powerful and shorter acting than morphine (although it is not active if swallowed), and thus the dosing schedules/mechanisms are very different.
Too much of ANYTHING can be poisonous, even water (see water intoxication). If someone takes too much morphine they will stop breathing. If no one helps them with a reversal drug (naloxone) or ventilates them (rescue breathing) they can die.
the most popular medicine used in the civil war was morphine. morphine was a widely used medicine. it was used so often because it was a quick pain killer and it was addicting.
