Hi
I was quoted £35 for the part and £35 fitting from troy auto parts hope this helps
it can hold £50 worth
Just cost me £115, don't know if that's reasonable or a rip off
How much will it cost to replace a cank sensor on a Mazada 626?
could cost anywhere from 20 to 40 dollars
How much does the fiat abarth 500c cost
The crank sensor is located on the timing chain cover, to the right (passenger side) of the crank pulley behind the A/C compressor. Much easier to jack it up and access from underneath. Safety first! Use a jack-stand and do NOT get under the car with tire-jack supporting it
The crank position sensor is located on the back side of the engine (the side that faces the firewall) slightly above the starter on the engine block at the number 3 cylinder. It is held on by one 10mm bolt and the wiring plugged into it. I would recommend removing the starter to change this sensor as it will be much easier.
The sensor is located under the timing belt behind the underdrive pulley. You will pretty much have to take that whole side of the motor apart to get to it....
my brava also leaked water into the driver side footwell. raise your bonnet look along the drainage channel where bonnet hinges are. this area gets blocked with leaves and other dabris. clear as much as you can, use a hoover. than flush with clean water to make sure dranage holes are clear. take your time. good luck, tony u.
you would have to look up your specific model on a website like autozone. on my 97 lumina, the sensor is 18.99. where it will cost you, unless you replace it yourself, is labor at the shop. ive had mine estimated at 150$ I was just quoted $200 for a crankshaft sensor replacement in a 1998 Chev Lumina.
It is a faulty sticking injector, or LAMBDA Sensor, Or faulty ECU
I had a '87 3.8... the 3.8 V6 is much the same for many years, I think this is what you mean? Anyway, the sensor is on the accessory end of the engine, located just above the large crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the motor. It is not easy to see. The sensor is held in with one bolt and has two wires coming out of it. If I recall, the fastening is adjustable for gap between the sensor and crank reluctor.
