Wurlitzers like any of the now obsolete brands, you should pay no more than 100.00-200.00 for the spinets(12-13 pedals) and around 300.00 for the consoles(18-25 pedals). These prices are only appropriate if the organ is in good working condition.

What is the longest organ piece ever written?

I don't know about the longest piece written for organ, but I know what the longest piece to ever be performed on an organ is. Organ2/ASLAP, by John Cage, is a work for Organ meant to be played As SLow As Possible (ASLAP). It is currently being performed at St Burchardi Church in Halberstadt, Germany, on an organ built for this purpose. The performance began on September 5th, 2001, and will continue until the year 2640. The piece consists of eight pages of music, and each page will take 71 years to perform. One of the pages will be repeated, giving a total running time of 639 years. How many pipes are in a organ?

The organ I play at an Episcopal (Anglican) church has 2,900 pipes, which is actually just about medium-sized (if there is such a measurement). The smaller theater organs I've played have about 1,000. The smaller church organ down the street has about 2,000.

What is the value of a Wurlitzer organ model 4020?

hard to say depending on condition, then there's also the fact that that particular model organ was designed and made available as a kind of student type made for less money to target a cheaper market than say a 4400 series etc ..and the sounds are ok but not super nice sounding as it uses a basic rc coupled amplifier tone generator with extremely limited tone shaping and instrument sound simulation. on the other hand, and on the positive note (scuze the pun) that particular model along with others from around the same time period use what have turned out to be extremely rare and valuable parts to the internal workings of the organ like amplification and even some of the hardware parts like the 3 CRL 18672 3-way selector switches which are nearly identical to the #1452 switches designated and found in the Fender Stratocaster's and Telecaster's from the 1950's making those switches rare and valuable in a collector and boutique market. There 3 of the CRL switches total in that organ so Ching! you just cashed in at about $65 x 3 = $195 (approx.). Now lets look further at what else is inside these treasure infested organic items from americas past like the literally $100's in vintage capacitors not the least of which are the fabled and highly coveted - rare and extremely valuable "Bumblebee" .022 @ 400vdc Sprague Capacitors! (Also used in the extremaly valuable Gibson Les Paul electric Guitars aproximately around 1957-59 which is what most likely gives them their high price value) There are approximately 5-6 of these caps that came stock built into the amplifier and tone coloring unit 1-2 in the amplifier and 3-4 in the latter. I have personally had and sold these caps for giant bucks in the past (i'm all out ...COL! :(... ) and have since seen these particular caps go for up to $95 each (again, depending on condition) so you can safely assume there's at very least another $100 in just those 4-5 caps alone Cha Ching! you do the math from here on out. Ok, moving right along we then turn our gazes upon the tone generator without waisting anymore time cuz those neatly uniform preamp vacuum tubes look suspicious & delicious ...all 32 of them! might as well grab a calculator at this point. lets see... 32 vintage 12ax7 usually 1958 RCA Black (or Grey) "long plate" which easily go for 25-45 each all day long if they test good which is the probable results due to an under worked factor designed for reliability of function purposes. and that's just what's in the tone generator not including the 4-5 exact same tubes (usually) on the power amplifier ..go ahead and add it up. Im up to $1490 so far and that's a rough figure. so, let us carry on and see what else is available like the hundreds of vintage Good-All & more Bumblebee's!! caps that if you were to extract every single one of them and put them to market on eBay should probably (by my experience of having done it several time yet) go for about $150. these organs often came stock with 1 Jensen P12R alnico 10 watt speaker at 16 ohms which depending on the condition, usually "minty" due to being well preserved into the organ cabinetry is worth any where between $45-$85-$105 depending on where the ever fluctuating market might happen to be that month or year. so id go with a solid $75 to be fair on all accounts. now the amplifier usually has 4 12ax7 RCA long plate (grey or black) preamp tubes one for a phase inverter another for the vibrato circuit another to preamp the tone coloring box input and another for the bass pedal preamp. so there's 4 more highly sought after tubes (if the tubes haven't been switched out with some other type cuz of servicing some time in the past which could mean better or worse as far as worth for the tubes) if the original ones are still intact and still being used. so add on another $100. Now the amplifier has 2 x 6v6gt for the output and uses one 6AU6 rectifier as well as 2 x 6av6 preamp tubes for the line level input section tube which is another easy $150 worth in tubes if they test strong. so we had a total estimated worth in components of $1890. and it is sort of funny that even today you can still find one of these for about $100 or sometimes $10 or even sometimes for free. so, to answer your question of how much is the 4200 Wurlitzer organ worth? …anywhere between free and about $1500 if you're willing to put the work into persuading someone to buy it for it's worth in parts. hope this helps you.

What makes the skin the largest organ?

because the total size and weight of the skin is more than any part of the body. the next organ to the skin is the liver.

Is the largest organ in your body a liver?

No, the largest organ in the human body is your skin (: It may be weird to think of your skin as an organ, but it is. If you stretched out all of your skin, it would be about 22 sq. ft. On average, your skin is about 8 pounds of your total weight.
