Sorry, no US dollar coins dated 1817
If the coin is about the size of a quarter and has a picture of the Statue of Liberty on the back, it's not from 1817 and it's not gold. It IS a dollar though. It's one of the new $1 coins issued as part of the Presidential dollars series. These coins are made of brass and have the minting date inscribed on the coin's edge. "1817" is part of the dates served by the president depicted on the coin, either James Madison (1809-1817) or James Monroe (1817-1825). Hundreds of millions have been minted so they're neither rare nor valuable. Go ahead and spend it.
Those are the years James Monroe was President. The coin is worth one dollar.

how much is a piece of eight court of Ferdinand 1698 coin worth? from Spain.
You need to provide the denomination, along with the estimate of the condition. All you've done is told us you have a "King" coin dated 1817.

One dollar.
Since 1817, Sovereigns have been made from 22 carat gold. I cannot imagine why anybody would silver plate a gold coin, so you may have a replica in silver. Value unknown.
It depends on which denomination coin you have. A $10 coin has more gold than a $5 coin.
