Likely as not, the value is not high, however it would be necessary to have it appraised in person to give a true idea.

Take it to a local jeweler, who can give you a better idea. If the pin is set in precious metal, the value will obviously be higher.

Kick a gift horse in the mouth?

I thought the saying was that! Dont kick a gift horse in the mouth. It sounds more appropiate then "look" a gift horse in the mouth. The history of the original saying states- To look a gift horse in the mouth implies the age of the horse- in relation to that of gifts received by another, one would imply that with such a saying that the receiver is only looking at the "value of the gift. Most recently i gave someone a gift for health, it was not the value, however the thought and kindness that went into it. Most hurt that the receiver gave it back, i proceeded to send him a message saying Never "kick a gift horse in the mouth" Hmmm??? maybe this figure of speech just came naturally to me. It seems like a much more appropiate saying in comparision to its original saying, based on the meaning it serves in relation to the value of the gift. I like my saying more.

How do you change 'the horse will jump in the show' to passive voice?

Passive voice is what you read in a textbook or newspaper - the focus is on what happened instead of who did it. So instead of saying "The horse will jump in the show," which clearly has the horse as the main subject and shows what the horse did, you'd say "Jumps were taken by the horse in the show," which shifts the focus to what happened.Passive voice often contains different forms of "to be," such as was, were, is, are. This can clue you in on what might be a passive sentence.Passive voice is also much less interesting to read than active voice, and is usually a more convoluted way of saying something.

What is a equine animal?

Some examples of equines are: zebras, horses, donkeys, mules, hinny, zorse, zonkey, zeedonk. According to my veterinary dictionary it defines equine as "pertaining to, or characteristic of a horse". It's pretty much the fancy way of saying "horse", just like saying "canine" is a snazzy way of saying "dog", or how "feline" means "cat". Vets and animal types just like to make it tricky.
