How much is a speeding ticket in Garland-Texas for going 53 in a 40?

I imagine it is at least $250+. Also, don't think of getting it dismissed because Garland police officers do not have the option of "not showing up" for court and therefore none of the traffic ticket lawyers in the Dallas area can go for a dismissal. The most they can do is get you deferred adjudication or traffic school which you can do on your own. I know this because I just got a right turn on red citation (I swear, I didn't see the sign) and when I called an attorney that has got my sister out of at least 20 tickets over the years they said "no way to get a dismissal in Garland". My citation is $269 for no right turn on red when posted. Not sure what speeding is but probably somewhere in that range. Hope this helps...
