buddy of mine imported a 1992 skyline gtr and was about 9 grand all said and done that's with all the import fees and inspection
That is a good question. Even if you had a Skyline stripped to parts it would still have a serial number and import documents stating it's origin would be required by US Customs. You might be able to import a used Skyline from Canada under North American Free Trade rules. Canadians can import used Japanese cars 15 year and older, so Skylines are found in Canada. Do some study on the laws-you might be able to import one.
about 85 lakhs for buying, shipping, paying the import duties and registering, oh and the registration also depends on the tax of the state that you live in or to the port where it is imported...hope that answers your question!

Outside of Japan it may be difficult to find one, but due to the popularity of the Nissan Skyline in video games many countries are allowing them to be imported. Those who do not reside in Japan should check with a car deal inside of Japan that is willing to import skyline's into their country.
From what I know Skyline cost about 10 million dollars to make.
There's no such thing as a 2009 Nissan SKYLINE GTR, But im guessing your refering to the Nissan GTR (not skyline) and its around £60,000 GBP.
A Nissan Skyline is much better than the elise.I may be a fan of the elise but when I saw the skyline in action I canged my mind.
