If you want to order it by mail, you would have to pay postage and handling in addition.
Dealers get them as part of larger lots for almost nothing per stamp- say 65% face if mint and

It is the kind of stamp I use on letters if unused or give to kids if used.

Yes you can use an "H" makeup stamp as postage as long as it is not cancelled or being reused. FYI an H stamp is worth 33 cents but a H makeup stamp is only worth 1 cent.

Only the Forever stamps are good for a one-ounce letter "forever." The H stamp is worth 33 cents toward the 2011 rate of 44 cents (88 cents large envelopes). The H "makeup rate" stamp (rooster weathervane) is worth only 1 cent.
