These guns were made as prizes for the Winchester Claybird Tournament in 1967 & 1968. They are fairly rare as they were never offered for sale by the company. I was told by a Winchester financial executive that the sets' cost for the 1967 set was over $2,000. No idea their value today since I have not heard of any set that sold
Less than 100 to multiple thousands depending on specifics.
100-300 USD or so $25-$75 USD reason-> The Winchester 1400 Semi's were notorious for jamming up... In most all cases the gun would jam when ejecting the 2nd round and loading the 3rd...This was due to a poorly designed PLASTIC part inside the guns receiver which in time would crack and break causing the proplematic jamming.. This plastic part is no longer available from Winchester so the plastic part must be machined out of metal by a gun smith which can cost upwards of $300
A Winchester 12/20 gauge shot gun can cost anywhere from 200 dollars to 500 dollars. This depends on what shape the gun is in.
Your MD12 was made in 1956 going by the ser# there was 69,939 made by Winchester that year. Cost or value would depend on condition, check with a gun dealer or someone who collects Winchester as far as value...
