How much is too much of an age gap in teen love?

13 and 18, too far apart. 16 and 18 not too bad. Depending on maturity level and not one that the teen has decided they have because we all know they think at 13 they are 20, when most of them cant remember to make their beds or tie there shoes, still. I think teens in general are too young to date. Now they like to use the term, young adult, well, no where should the word adult be near the teen world. They have so much to do and learn still that they cant possibly handle a real relationship. I see that schools havent changed. Today your the in kid tommorrow your old news. They date these days for 2 days and say they had a "relationship" or the best is because someone talks to them, they are now "in love" with them. I think parents want their kids to grow up faster now so they don't have to take the time to rear them anymore, what used to be a family unit has now turned into fend for yourself. 2 years tops, if they can be responsible and not create a problem for themselves, if you know what I mean.

I think the maximum age difference should be about 6 at the most. And ^ she went off topic. They do remember they just don't see a reason to make their bed. i am young teen, and honestly, teens are fairly mature. i don't know how mature everyone else is but i consider myself fairly mature, even though that doesn't sound very mature.
