Depends 8-10 Oz would be quite sufficent tho
Between 200 and 250gms per person, which is about a half-pound.
Previous answer: about 2 to 3 serving per day
New answer: One serving is about the size of a regular deck of cards.
If you need 4 ounces of meat per person for 100 people, that means you need 25 pounds of meat.
1/2 per person.
Usually a serving size of meat is 6 ounces, 6 * 250 = 1500 ounces (figuring six ounces per person at 250 people). 1500 ounces / 16 ounces (which is a pound) 93.75 pounds of meat total (approx) On occasion 8 ounces of meat is served per person. If you want to serve 8 ounces of meat per person then the figures are 8 * 250 = 2000 ounces 2000 / 16 = 125 pounds of meat
about 200 pounds of meet per year per person
If you figure 1/4 pound per person you should have plenty .
Thumb of rule is 1/4 lb. Of meat per person
it depends what kind of meat........lol why would you want to know this?
The amount of meat that is needed per person will depend on the type pf meat. If a person is serving chicken for 12 people, there should be at least one pound for each person.
You can average about 3 or 4 ounces of meat per person so 200 people would need about 50 pounds of meat. If you plan to serve both chicken and beef, you probably want 25 pounds of chicken meat and 25 pounds of beef.
If it's to be served as an appetizer, I would not provide more than six per person. That would come to 300.
for deli platters 1/4 lb. of meat plus 2 slices of cheese per person is generous. haddadj59@yahoo.com
