It is doubtful that the place of the crucifixion was more than a 100 yards from the city gate. The point of such brutal forms of death were meant to warn others not to break the law. Dying on a cross for all too see would not have occured miles from the city of Jerusalem.
Not really found him so much as put him on the cross and watched him die...
Free! Jesus died on the cross for you. He loves you more than you can fathom!

This information is not given in the Bible. No mention is made of the weight of the cross, in any units.
Jesus is God's son. Jesus was Sent to earth for 1 purpose to die on the cross for our sins. God gave Jesus a choice to die for us and Jesus choSe to die on the cross for me and you because He loves us so so much!
It depends on the cross-sectional are of the conductors -the bigger, the more current they can carry.
There is much debate over whether it was a cross shaped like a 'T or t' or was it a stake in the ground. If a 'T or t' cross, Jesus is placed along the long beam in the middle. If a stake 'l' that is the only place to be place.
It depends on its cross-sectional area, its construction, and how it is laid.
He suffered so much! Immagine yourself carring a huge cross up a steep hill?! But he was willing to do it for us.
Jesus did. He loves us and didn't want us to go to hell. Jesus loves us very much.
While there is a question to the exact location of Golgotha, some scholars believe it was .5 miles. It is also a question ar to the location of Jesus start on the journey to Calvary. The difficulty, however, was not only the distance, but the weight of the horizontal cross beam (Patibulum) of about 125 lbs. being carried by Christ, after he had been mercilessly beaten with a whip embedded with shards of metal, bone, or pottery. Much blood was lost, besides the trauma of flesh severely torn, therefore it was natural to faint under the load.
Let memake a point clear Jesus was a jewish man. Christianity came much later after Jesus died and even arose from the cross. Christianity was started mainly by Paul later on.
