How much of Cyprus is ruled by Turkish?

Cyprus did in fact belong to the Turkish, settlers from turkey traveled there and stayed,soon they slowly started to develop their own accent and stopped calling themselves Turkish and created a new word called 'Cypriot' and that's what they called themselves. They are Turkish but with a different accent, just like Scotland and England,the Scottish have a different accent from England and that's how it works with Turkey and Cyprus. 50 years ago there was a war between Greece and Cyprus,lots of Turkish Cypriots died because the Greek wanted to claim all of Cyprus so when Turkey and the Turkish government stepped in their way they started killing a lot of Turkish Cypriot's, until at last it came to an end when both countries surrender and now share the country so there is no "who rules Cyprus's" because at the end of the day that proud island is shared by the Turkish and the Greek's, they grew up together and some Greeks speak Turkish,some Turkish speak Greek, both are proud that they stopped fighting and have made friends. I am a Cypriot by the way.
