Mormon is a religion... people are Mormons, banks are not.

Wells Fargo is a publicly traded company, so the shareholders own it. Some of these shareholders might be members of the Mormon church, but the Mormon church does not own any shares in it.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) does not own or operate any banks.

Zions Savings Bank WAS founded by Brigham Young, but the corporation was later sold, and went thru several name changes. Zion Bank Corporation, no longer owned by the LDS Church, was later acquired by Wells Fargo.

Wells Fargo is a bank. Banks don't keep track of the religions of their customers and clients.
