If it is empty you need to add 1.8 Quarts otherwise you need to check the oil level by 1. starting the engine and allow to run for three minutes. 2. stop the engine allow to sit for three minutes. 3. remove oil dipstick located at the front left of the ATV below the cover right next to the suspension spring. 4. wipe off dipstick 5. reinsert do not screw in just till it touches. If level is low add a little oil say 1/4 to 1/2 a quart depending on how low it is on the dipstick then redo steps 1-4 to see if it is still low do this until it is full. You should get a good idea of how much oil to add after doing this a few times.
