Behind the glove box. To change/clean it, you have to take the glove box off
open the trunk and take off the cover and just do it
On my 2004 Sienna I have to take out my glove box (it is held in with (2) 10 mm bolt. You have to lay on your head to see the screws. The filter is right behind the glove box after you remove it.
If it in the same place as the 2004; it is behind the glove box; you should be able to remove the entire glove box and should the cover for the cabin air filter behind it. Below this is the blower fan and motor Update: On the 2000 Sienna, it is not in the same place as the 2004. Toyota changed the assembly in 2003. It is much more difficult to get at the blower motor prior to 2003. You have take the entire dashboard apart.
If you're changing the filter also, It takes 5 quarts.
