Would 2001 YZ125 Yamaha front forks fit on a 2003 TTR 125LE Yamaha?

I have a 2007 Yamaha TTR125L, and i am currently looking for Front forks for my bike also. A YZ125 front fork with triple clamps and all "should" fit all models of the TTR125, im hoping atleast. If your thinking of Re-doing the front end, the YZ125 is the best Choice. "NOTE" you will need a modified rear shock to balance out the setup of the front suspension or the bike will be unstable. YZ85 is to small, and YZ250 is probably to big. To be safe getting the front redone, install a stiffer shock(not just the spring) the whole shock, must be atleast 45% stiffer atleast!! Or take the bike to a shop, and get the rear shock redone, and modified for about $150 tops. Having a soft saggy rear setup with a stiffer MX style front is not safe!!!!

How much oil in Honda forks?

It depends on the make of the bike, its type and model/year. In small bikes there can be as little oil in the front forks as 1/4 of a quart or liter, in bigger bikes the amount may be haf a quaet or liter or more. The problem with adding oil to front forks is that bigger bikes need to be jacked or lifted up at the front to fully extend the springs inside so that enough space is made for the new fork oil. The bolts on top of the front forks have to be removed with a wrench and then the oil is poured into the hole. Use a funnel to prevent spillage. If your front forks are leaking the oil you must get new front fork seals. Select thin oil for the forks, 5 W, 10 W or 15 W at the most.

How do you tighten the front shocks on a TTR125?

The front shocks are actually "forks". If you are asking how to adjust them to be more firm, that would depend on how firm you need to go. You can adjust the feel of your forks by a different weight fork oil, different spring or damper rods.

What is the top speed for a Yamaha vmax?

I have a 97 sx and I hit 95 mph. I have a 94 V-max and have had it to 135mph, you do encounter an eire wobble at about 120mph, its from the front forks flexing, clears at around 130mph, you need a good length of straight stretch because at that speed you tend to eat roadway up real fast.

How do you replace fork seals on 1968 triumph 650?

To replace fork seals on a 1968 Triumph 650, you need to remove the front tire so that you can access the forks. The next step is to loosen the clamping bolts where the forks connect to the frame. Use the right amount of fork oil required in the owner's manual. Replace and tighten the forks.
