∙ 2013-12-22 02:14:56Remove the fill plug with either a 3/8 drive or 1/2 drive extention and ratchet and then take fluid with a hose and squeeze the fluid into it
The oil dipstick on the 2001 Ford F150 is located just behind the oil fill cap on the left side, or passenger side, of the engine. The oil dipstick is used to measure the amount of oil in the engine.
Inferior fuel or too low of an octane rating.
Fill reservoir 1/2 pint?
Should be a plug on the side of transmission - fill to this level
look for a filler tube coming from the transmission on the passenger side

On a ( 2006 ) Ford Freestyle with the 3.0 litre " Duratec " V6 engine : The engine oil dipstick is at the front of the engine compartment next to the engine oil fill cap
I was looking at the 2010 Ford F-150 Owner Guide and it shows : " If your vehicle is flex fuel capable , it will have a yellow bezel placed over the fuel fill inlet "
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick , there will be a fill plug on the transmission
if it is an automatic it should have a dipstick on the drivers side of the engine towards the rear of the engine and if it is a manual you fill it from a plug on the transmission itself
