1ml.
1ml.
is that 1ml per lb
I don't understand the above answer? But the dosage above is 100x the recommended dosage for PEN-AQUEOUS 300,000u per ml... it should be 1ml per 100 pounds body weight, that is if your animal was 75lb you would give 0.75ml of PEN-AQEOUS which is penicillin G with procaine and Potassium (see label for ratios of additives)
That is three quarters of a milliliter of the drug total for a 75 pound animal and so on for a 50lb animal it would be one half of a milliliter (0.50ml)
It is essential that you be careful and understand what you are doing with these drugs. You can cause your buddy to go into allergic shock that can and will KILL them.
Please understand that I am not a vet and if you have questions that are above your scope of knowledge you should consult a professional.
YOU WILL KILL YOUR BEST FRIEND IF YOU MESS THINGS UP LIKE THE ABOVE DOSAGE ERROR!!!
Try searching that at BackYard Chickens. Good luck readers.
the doctor orders 75-mg of an injectable med. You have 200- mg per/ml How much med do you give?
If you need to give your dog any type home remedy pain med, it's better to give them, a LOW DOSE ASPIRIN such as BABY ASPIRIN. NOT MOTRIN.
It should be safe to use all three at once. Make sure to thoroughly read the directions for all medications and if the dog suddenly shows signs of distress like vomiting or diarrhea then take immediately to a vet.
NEVER give an animal a medicine that is meant for humans unless a VETERINARIAN tells you to do so and tells you the dosage. Online forums like this are full of people who might give you an incorrect answer. Tylenol can be FATAL to dogs.
thats not a question.....
Because if the dog has heartworms and you give a preventive, it can harm or kill the dog. Preventives are not safe for a dog that already has heartworms, except in some circumstances where it was caught very early.
Asprin. Brake it down and mix it with some food that a dog can eat . Like something mushy. I gave it to my dog and he was walking the next day ;) hope this helps
Have you seen a vet, is the dog on med's?
simply just a med. sized dog
Depending on the med, you might be able to hide it in a small hamburger ball. Ask your vet for tips. The vet can give you more specific recommendations.
Only under vet's supervision, keep an eye on your pet when giving any med's for any type of reaction they may have with the drug.
