where does the rear & front pumps goes on a 2005 Yukon washer resvior
In a pressure washer the pump creates the pressure, but the unloader regulates it. A pump on a 2000 psi machine may be rated for 3000 psi, but the unloader keeps it running at 2000psi. On an electric machine, as the pressure goes up, so will your amp draw. Your Max PSI is probably the maximum pressure you can run that machine at and not overload the motor. It uses a multi viscosity non detergent hydraulic oil. It is ISO 68 lubricant. I would use nothing but Cat oil which you can easily buy.
I have a Mits Galant 1990 A/T and recently repaired a leaking washer pump. The washer pump in my Galant is attached to the lower part of the water reservoir. You need to remove the electrical connection to the pump and remove the reservoir. Afterwards, you can remove the washer pump and replace it with a new one. To ensure you have no leaks when you install the new pump, I suggest you line the holw of the reservoir (the hole where the pump goes into reservoir) with silicone paste or any other sealant. Replace the reservoir and the connect the electrical connection.
