A .270 has a good amount of recoil i suggest getting a shoulder pad and a stand for the gun
Recoil of a firearm is based on how heavy and fast is the bullet, and how much does the firearm weigh. Change any one of the 3, and recoil will change. The AVERAGE .270 Winchester (16.5 lbs recoil) will have less recoil than a 30-06 (17.6 lbs recoil) but more than a .308 Winchester ( 15.8 lbs recoil). How recoil FEELS can be affected by several things, including shape of the stock, recoil control devices (such as pads) which spread recoil over time, etc. Good article for some more reading for you-http:/wwwzperiodzchuckhawkszperiodzcom/recoil_tablezperiodzhtm
Just about equal. The parent of the .270 IS the 30-06 (necked down to .270). TYPICALLY (but not always) the .270 fires a slightly lighter bullet at a higher speed.
How much more does a 30 caliber revolver recoil than a 9mm?Thanks
A mule kicks, a rifle recoils. Recoil perception differs among people. It is generally considered mild.
It would have come with a hard plastic buttplate with the word 'BROWNING' on it.
The answer depends on your sensitivity to recoil. It could be 250 Savage, 270 Winchester, 308 Winchester, 7x57, etc., etc.,

i recoiled when i heard that the spider was still in my room
270 lbs is 122.47kg
30-06 is a fine cal. for deer but the recoil may be too much for an 11 year old. Many grown men will shy away from it. A 260-270-280-or 243 would be a better start. My suggestion is an american standard- the 30-30. Still a stout recoil, but all four of my daughters have handeled it well.
remmington 270 What are you hunting? A .308 has a little less kick and can take down a whitetail at considerable yardage. If your typical shot is 100 yards or less you may even look at a .243. You don't want to over do it with a young hunter or he may develop a trigger flinch due to recoil anticipation. I can tell you a Remington 700 .270 has hard recoil.
270 kilometers is 270,000 meters.
