Francisco Pizarro received various titles and honors for his conquests in South America, including being appointed as Governor of New Castile and being granted the title of Marquis of Atavillos. Additionally, he was given the Order of Santiago by the Spanish Crown for his achievements in the conquest of the Inca Empire.
