At least $10 because a mile is 5,280 feet. Half a mile you pay only $5. And a short walk $2.
That is a good way to do it, but from the way i see it, you should charge for the minutes, like, $5 for a 15 min. walk, or $8-$10 for a half hour. that's what i would charge anyway. anything longer than a half hour should be negotiated with the dog owner.
however much you want to charge
One mile of biking equals one mile of walking
The IRS mileage rate is 55.5 cents per business mile.
A 13.42-minute mile equates to a walking speed of 4.47 mph

Well, a mile is pretty close to 1.6 kilometers. So it should take you about 1.6 times longer to walk a full mile, than to walk a single kilometer. Therefore, if it takes you 20 minutes to walk that mile, then you'll have finished walking a kilometer in around 12.5 minutes.
Three.
Your employer should be telling you what the mileage is. At my place of employment, we get 50.5 cents a mile.
The average walking speed is about 3 miles an hour, so it would take about 20 minutes to walk a mile. However, it depends on your health, what you are carrying, and level of effort: walking slowly = 20-25 mins per mile walking briskly = 17-20 mins per mile walking fast = 13-17 mins per mile jogging = 9-13 mins per mile running = 5-9 mins per mile
No. I'm sorry to inform you that thinking does not burn anywhere near as many calories as walking a mile does.
It depends on how fast you walk. If you walk at an average pace it should take 15-20 minutes.
I would think that is a reasonable start. Fast walking should produce a mile in 15 minutes. The nine minutes should be able to be improved on though.
