At least $10 because a mile is 5,280 feet. Half a mile you pay only $5. And a short walk $2.
That is a good way to do it, but from the way i see it, you should charge for the minutes, like, $5 for a 15 min. walk, or $8-$10 for a half hour. that's what i would charge anyway. anything longer than a half hour should be negotiated with the dog owner.
