Check the BMI index, it should be around 22. Children are no "little adults", so the BMI index isn't really good for them, but there is no better alternative. Be carefull of excessive diet measures, as they can disrupt growth! Best would be to train good and have decent varried meals (also including fat!). Too fat food is not good for anyone, but eating only non-fat food not good for girls in their early teens. At the start of adolescence, teens need some fat for growth. Getting better swimming results will most likely come from good training, not from excessive diet measures.
