I have a Rex as well, he is nearly 2 years old and really fat, don't worry if he or she is bigger than other rabbits. All Rex's are known to have a lot of fat to keep them warm in Winter. He/she might develop a roll of fat underneath its chin, this is normal. But beware of foods that are fattening such as lucerne hay. Rex's love the green bits at the end of carrots and also love chocolate but don't give it too much.

It is difficult to tell you exactly what your chocolate lab puppy should weigh because each puppy is built differently. On average, puppies weigh a single pound at birth and gain 2 pounds per week. Following that formula, your puppy should weigh between 18 and 20 pounds.
