No, it will not. This is just a temporary emergency repair. The only way to fix a blown head gasket is to replace it.

I hate to tell you this but I just paid $3,500 at the Nissan dealer for head gasket replacment.
Either a leaking intake manifold or a blown head gasket. You can take it to a repair shop and have a block test done. That will tell you if it is a head gasket. DO NOT drive anymore than needed as the water will destroy the engine bearings.
There are a couple of things that can cause your 1992 Nissan Maxima headlights to stop working. A bad ground wire can cause the problem. A blown fuse can also cause the problem.
