That would depend on what has to be done. Get some estimates. Well, for our Saturn it's supposedly around $1600, but I'm SURE we're getting ripped off!

You should check the fluid level in the power steering pump.
The 1997 Chevy Cavalier power steering hose is held in place with swivel nuts. Loosen the swivel nuts by turning them to the left. The power steering hose will come off. Reverse the process to install the new power steering hose.
