A brand new water pump will cost you about 60-70 bucks. A remanufactured one will run about 40. This is on a Chevy small block.
I would guess a mechanic would charge about 2-3 hours of labor.
So, with the cost of the pump....paying a mechanic....and other costs like gaskets and such....I would say about close to 300 bucks.
If you do it yourself (I just replaced mine on an 84 Chevy truck)....maybe 60-70 bucks. I managed to get a water pump that was taken off a crate motor that wasn't needed due to it being used for a marine application. I snagged a brand new water pump that was a high flow model for only 30 bucks. Not taking into account my time....I replaced it for 40 bucks total.
Hope this helps.
If you can do the work yourself, it will cost you around $100 to replace a Yukon water pump. If you take it to a service center, it will cost at least $200 more.
it cost 1500 dollars to replace my tranny at the local tranny shop
wayyy more then its worth. $800 or more. itll cost you $43 to do it yourself.
The cost to replace a leaking brake line on a 1996 Chevy 1500 truck can vary. For example if you can purchase the part used the cost can be as low as $100. However, the cost to have the service work completed on the part can also increase the price depending on the mechanic prices.
It should cost no more than $350, if u also replace the timing belt, which i recommend. The total w both water pump and timing belt should cost $375, and that's a padded estimate.
It depends on what vehicle. A 2001 lawn mower's fuel filter could only cost $5.00. A fuel filter on a car/truck that is in the tank on the fuel pump may cost $500 + to replace.
It would cost about 260 dollars.
Approximately $400. Have them replace the water pump while they're at it. All the labor has already been done, you'll just need to pay for the water pump.
Should typically be a product cost.
around $150.00
When replacing parts of a car, it is important to know the general cost of the fixes. To replace the ball joints for a 2003 F150 pickup truck, it is going to cost a person $40-$60 to do it on their own.
Parts and labor, $200 to $300 at a licensed garage.
