A seed that will grown into barley when fully mature.
Jobstears seed and barley are the same thing , jobstears seed actually is the barley after peeling.
as much as you got
Barley looks very much like wheat. If you've seen a wheat plant before, then barley has often much longer awns (those long things that stick out from the seeds on the seed head) and is often a more yellowish colour. Wheat tends to be more reddish in colour, with shorter awns. The seeds are not clumped together as wheat is, as the seeds are a bit more smoother on the head than wheat. In most barley seed heads, there are less seeds on a barley seed head than on a wheat seed head. See the links below for pictures of barley plants and seed heads and pictures of wheat plants for comparison.
Yes, just remove the hull.
you need one cup of water to germinate a seed
my choc lab eats barley seed in the farmers fields when she is being walked, will this do her eny harm.
depends on the seed. most need darkness to germinate, some dont care and a few require light
re wheat, oats, barley, flax seed, and canola (rape seed).
Life, liberty and fruit of the loom.
You need to put one seed in a pot of soil and place it in a room where there is no light and place another plant in a pot without soil and under a window as there are a lot of light. After a few days, you will see that the seed in the soil pot light will germinate, and you can conclude that a seed does not need light to germinate but need soil.
