how long to digest non -veg
beans take longer time to get digested as they are proteins and complex carbohydrate while sugars is already refined and processed beand also has fibre and fibre takes long hours to get digested.
As long as it takes!
It reduces the cooking time and thus the amount of energy required to make them edible.

Food production methods are divided by its own varieties, for beans and pulses, meat, vegetables etc.. but normally some procedures we have to take at first.in BEANS case first we have to soak the beans for its needed time with sodium sulphate.after we have to blanch it by its required temperature.then have to retort it by its specific time and temperature.at last we have to incubate it. This is the normal production method for beans.
It differs from person to person according to their digestion capacity.
Toast does not need too much time to digest and will require slightly over an hour. As a matter of fact toast will digest faster than milk which takes up to 2.5 hours.
Sort and rinse the beans. Discard any beans that are shriveled or cracked. Add the beans to a large pot and cover them with water. The pot needs to be big enough to allow the dried beans to expand three times their size. You will need 6 to 8 cups of water per pound of dried pinto beans. Boil for the water three minutes and remove the pan from the heat. Cover the pot and allow the beans to sit for 1 to 4 hours, depending on how much time you have. One hour is enough time for the beans to soak, but more time can reduce how much gas the beans produce. Discard the soaking water. Rinse the beans one more time and then proceed to cook them as normal.
Starch doesn't digest saliva. The enzyme in saliva digests starch.
