There is 2 way to change the fuel pump:
1: drain and drop the fuel tank, remove the 4 screws holding pump in place.
2: Dismount the bed from the frame, with a jack raise the bed apox 9 inches, now you can get to top of the tank, remove the 4 screws holding the pump in place, pull the pump straight up and out of tank, carfull not to let any dirt fall in tank, replace with new pump and gasket, lower bed back into place carefully, reinstall bolts and prime, and your done..
about 260.00 for the fuel pump if you do it yourself.
About $500-$600. Unless you buy the part and the manual and replace it yourself, then it would be about $200.

remove the bed with 2 persones and u will remove the pump from the top not the bottom.
I was recently quoted $685 to have one replaced. Just had one replace on my daughters Jeep and it cost just about $500.
