In 1973, that same box of corn flakes would have cost you a quarter. Jump forward to 1984 when the price was 89 cents. Today, that same 12-ounce box of corn flakes will set you back $2.99.
Really, it depends, but I get mine at either Lucky's or Safeway. The average cost is about $3.99. Plus, I get like a discount because I am a Club Card Member at both stores.
