welln that depends..before or after your metabolism crashes and you gain 5lbs a week eating nothing? or after the tube feeding you get when you keep on going? or how much after youre dead? it is "anorexic" and starving yourself will drop a few pounds, but youll also lose your hair, teeth, friends, and sanity. but as long as youre skinny right?
It depends, but it is really NOT THE BEST OPTION. When you stop eating your body starts going through stages. It will go into starvation mode.. It will conserve fat and water. You gain weight. It will start to break down and digest your muscle tissue-not fat tissue. Your body expends more energy burning fat than it does when it burns muscle, so when you starve yourself your body will keep the fat and get rid of the muscle-your heart is a muscle-this is very bad news for your body. The human body can survive around 3 days without water and around 3 weeks without food.
If you are trying to lose weight i suggest you talk to a doctor and discuss more effective and less dangerous options.
The only way your body burn fat is if you exercise your muscles and make sure you have a healthy diet.
If you are anorexic or are considering it please talk to some one.
Anorexics are never healthy, you need food to be healthy.
It depends on the individual. Some anorexics only lose a few pounds, while some may lose 50 pounds. Usually, the average person who is anorexic will lose 20 to 30 pounds before treatment or intervention occurs.
Because they are fat and need to lose more weight, fatty =)
This depends on how severe their diet restrictions are. They can loose between 5-14 lbs a week!
It is not just extreme weight loss that comes with anorexia, anorexics may also lose their hair, get bad circulation, feel cold due to this, and have very weak bones or osteoporosis. If a woman, they could lose their menstrual cycles too. Overall it is a very serious disease.
Anorexics commonly abuse exercise as a way to burn off calories to lose even more weight.
Anorexics are obsessed with being thin, they usually either don't eat at all or they make themselves vomit after eating something.
40pounds
Yes. Anorexics usually weigh less than a healthy person does.
It varies per individual. Almost always anorexics will have a noticeably less percent of body fat or weight from body fat that a "normal" or "average" weight person.
To some extent, yes. Anorexics have an unnatural desire to lose weight past the point of being "thin" and take it to an unhealthy extreme.
