I just had mine done by a garage and it was just over $1000
excessive exhaust back pressure, possibly a failed catalytic converter
I would like to Know of any recalls on a 1994 dodge dakota?
Could be a broken motor mount Check exhaust system for broken hanger
If they are Automatics it will not shift properly. It would bolt up if they are the same engine.
No.
Not knowing what engine you have in that 02 Dodge, the bank of cylinders on a V6 or V8 that contains the #1 cylinder is bank 1. Sensor 1 would be the first sensor threaded into the exhaust system after that bank.
Old age
After about 1995 all Dakota flywheels would have sensor targets on them.
that would be either your catalytic converter or your resignator pipe.
IT would be possible, but it would be easier to buy a 1988 or newer Dakota and have it already equipped that way.
There are a couple of places where someone can purchase a Dodge Ram exhaust. The best place to check would be the website, Auto Anything because they have them at an affordable price.
I would say it is the exhaust system.
